Privacy Policy — VSoft Logistics Connector

At VSoft (“we”, “our”, or “us”), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information handled through our logistics and order management application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when connecting your store to shipping partners.

Overview

This app automatically receives store orders, sends shipment details to shipping partners, and receives tracking updates (e.g., shipped, delivered, returned) to synchronize with your store.

Information We Collect

To operate the app and provide its services, we may collect the following types of information:

• Order data: Order ID, products, addresses, payment status (we never store full payment card details).
• Customer data: Name, email, phone number (used only for shipment and delivery coordination).
• Store data: Store name, domain, and access tokens required to perform secure API operations.
• System logs: Technical logs and request details to troubleshoot errors and monitor system performance.

How We Use the Information

• To send shipment information to shipping partners for order fulfillment and delivery.
• To receive shipment status updates and synchronize order statuses within your store.
• To provide customer support, fix technical issues, and improve overall performance.

Data Sharing

We only share information that is necessary to perform our services — such as sharing shipment details with trusted shipping partners or technical providers (hosting, monitoring, etc.). We do not sell or rent personal data to any third parties.

Webhooks and Data Deletion

The app uses Shopify-compliant GDPR webhooks to handle data access and deletion requests:

• customers/data_request: Provides a copy of customer data upon request.
• customers/redact: Deletes or anonymizes customer data when requested.
• shop/redact: Deletes all store data when the app is uninstalled.

When we receive these requests, we confirm with a 200 OK response and securely erase or anonymize the data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it longer.

Data Retention

We keep operational data (such as order logs) for up to 6 months for troubleshooting and reporting purposes. Access tokens and store configurations are removed within 48 hours after uninstallation.

Security

We implement standard security practices such as encrypted storage, HTTPS connections, and access controls. While no system is completely secure, we continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure to protect user data.
